AcquaFresca by Pilu

AcquaFresca by Pilu is a casual Italian trattoria brought to you by renowned Italian Chef, Giovanni Pilu and his team from Freshwater.  Resembling a beachside trattoria on the coast of Italy, guests can enjoy a unique Italian experience.

The menu includes all your Italian favourites, done well – simple, tasty dishes using, fresh, seasonal ingredients, divided into an extensive antipasti list, pasta, secondi (mains), dolci (desserts) and pizza.  Many of the dishes are sharing style plates, the true Italian way to eat with family and friends.

AcquaFresca by Pilu offers a range of Italian and local wines, plenty by the glass and of course a great selection of Italian cocktails and aperitifs.  Think classic negronis and a list of spritzes, along with local and artisan beers. The food is affordable and the value of each dish rests in the simplicity and quality of the ingredients.  We roll fresh pasta on a daily basis, bake our own focaccia and grissini and prove our pizza dough made from organic flour for 48 hours.

Open Lunch Wednesday to Sunday from 11.30am. Dinner Wednesday to Sunday from 5.30pm.  AcquaFresca is suitable for groups of 2-10 and reservations are accepted for lunch and dinner.

Operating a great local steakhouse with a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere was always the vision for owners Michael and Gabby Timbs and their business partners – former Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles captain Ben Kennedy and his wife Ash. 


Having scoured the Northern Beaches for over two years to find a suitable setting which perfectly complemented their Steakhouse vision, on the headland between Freshwater and Curl Curl at the iconic Diggers site was an ideal setting to turn the owners’ idea into a reality.

The aim is to create a restaurant where everyone is welcome and feels at home. Our food philosophy is simple; use the best ingredients from Australia's paddocks and coastlines to create a menu that is relaxed, local, and full of dishes we love.

Bau Truong - Flavours of Saigon

Established nearly 30 years ago from a foundation of traditional flavours with a twist, Vietnamese restaurant, Bau Truong is bringing sugar, spice and all things nice to Harbord Diggers now that they have opened their doors.

Fast becoming the Northern Beaches’ mecca for good food and good company, Bau Truong represents the Diggers’ latest offering. It follows in the footsteps of the successful AcquaFresca by Pilu and Teddy Larkin’s Seafood and Steakhouse restaurants, as well as DD Collective café that are located at the iconic Freshwater venue.

From humble beginnings in Cabramatta and now with three other restaurants across Sydney, Bau Truong has become synonymous with quality, refined Vietnamese dining, boasting flavourful mains, exotic entrees, elegant desserts and a selection of cultural beverages. Full beverage range available from adjacent Harbord Diggers main bar.

Welcome to DD Collective, the Diggers café hotspot, that is set to serve a contemporary approach to Modern Australian cafe, club and pub favourites.

Here you will enjoy great quality fare and exceptional coffee, served day and night with favourite dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner - all provided at great value.

Think roasts of the day, chicken schnitzels, beer-battered fish and nachos as well as lighter options like Caesar salad and grilled salmon.

Ocean Terrace Express Menu


Our Ocean Terrace menu features the best selection from DD Collective, Teddy Larkin's Seafood and Steakhouse and AcquaFresca by Pilu. It is the perfect answer to the age-old question, 'where should we eat?'.

Designed to be enjoyed in our spectacular Ocean Terrace and communal areas of the Club; the Ocean Terrace menu offers great flexibility in the types of food you can sample while enjoying your time at Harbord Diggers.

Simply order at the Ocean Terrace order station, then sit back, relax and enjoy the views while you wait for your food to arrive.

The Harbord Diggers bar is the thriving heart of the precinct, complementing the overall dining experience for members and guests.

The Diggers bar offers a comprehensive range of local, domestic, international, boutique and on-trend tap and packaged beverages, as well as an exciting offering of cocktails.

The main bar also entertains members and guests with hand-picked local and international DJs and live acts, six nights a week.
